Present as on yesterday.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer Pay to Daniel
of Saint Thomas Jenifer five Pounds amot of Account passed
by the A. General and the further Sum of one hundred and
forty six Pounds, nine Shillings and four Pence per Account
passed by the Committee of Claims.
That the said Treasurer Pay to Colo Steward five thousand
Dollars out of the money remitted by Congress for the Pur-
chase of Provisions.
That the said Treasurer Pay to Benjamin Mackall 4th one
hundred and ninty nine Pounds, four Shillings and eight
Pence due to Sundries and the further Sum of forty eight
Pounds three Shillings & nine Pence due himself as per
Accounts passed by the Aud. General
That the said Treasurer Pay to Col. William Hyde two
hundred & thirty two Pounds and seven Pence half Penny to
be by him delivered over to Capt. Robert Conway due him
per Acct passed by the A General.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Bullen three hundred
& sixty Pounds and two pence per Account passed by the
Board of Accounts.
That the said Treasurer Pay to Walter Bowie six pounds
sixteen Shillings & six Pence for the use of Geo. Alder per
Acct passed by the A Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Todd seven Pounds
seven Shillings per Account passed
Ordered That the Sheriff of Frederick County Pay to Colo
Otho Williams two thousand Dollars out of the money received
on the Assessment to be expended by him in the recruiting
Service and Accounted for
That the Western shore Treasurer pay Col. Samuel Smith
seventy two Pounds and the further Sum of Eighty four
Pounds for the use of Samuel Chestis as per Accounts passed
by the Auditor General
That the said Treasurer Pay to Doctr Philip Thomas six
Pounds ten shillings to be delivered over to Nicholas White
for the use of his Company of Militia per Pay roll examined
and allowed by the Aud. General and also the further Sum of
two Pounds ten Shillings for the use of John Stoner and the
further sum of Ten Pounds, seven shillings for the use of
Barnard Linganfelter per Certificate allowed by the Auditor
General
That the said Treasurer Pay to Alexander Somerville Esqr
Forty two Pounds for the use of Levin Mills due him on
Account passed by the A General and also the further Sum
