[Council to G. Keeports.]

In Council 21st Apl 1778.
Sir.
Those who may be recruited in this State to serve for 3
years or during the War in Brigdr Genl Count Pulaski's Legion,
being placed by the Assembly, on the same Footing with the
Recruits of the Maryland Continental Regiments. You are
requested, on Application, to furnish them with Cloathing in
like Manner as the other Recruits.

[Council to Baltimore Sheriff.]

In Council 21st Apl 1778
Sir.
The Assembly having by a Resolution of this Day, put the
Recruits who may enter in Brigadier General Count Pulaski's
Legion, on the same Footing as those raised for the Maryland
Continental Regiments. On any of the Officers of that
Legion lodging with you a Certificate from the Lieutenant of
your County of his having passed a Recruit for that Service,
inlisted in your County for three years or during the War,
you are to pay the forty Dollars Bounty allowed by this State;
the twenty Dollars allowed by Congress the Gent who are on
this recruiting Business will pay themselves, being provided
so far by the Congress.
