    in a great measure from the neglect of the Clergy in their   Lib. X.

    duty of their Parochial Visitry Ordered therefore that the   p. 291

    ministers of the Several Parishes be admonished monthly or

    at Least quarterly to Visit their parishioners and instruct

    them in the Principles of there Religion whereby they may

    prevent their Being Seduced

      Ordered that Mr John Brice Mr Abra Burkett & Mr Josias

    Toogood be appointed Justices of Ann Arundel County

      Resolved that Proclamation issue to Satisfy the Inhabi

    tants that the Govt is devolved upon the President & Council

    and that all persons are continued in their Respective Offices

      Ordered that the several County Courts be advised to give

    Orders to the several Overseers of the highways to fell such

    Trees as stand nigh the public Road and have been killed by

    the Caterpillars or otherwise to prevent the Danger of such

    Trees falling upon Travellers &ca & that they take care to put

    the Act of Assembly relating to high ways in due Execution

      This Board having nothing further to lay before them

    desire the honble President to Expedite the Business Of the

    Province not being of very great Consequence And to Give

    the Board account thereof at their next meeting

    Calvert County ss:                          Lib. H. D.

      By vertue of an order from the Justices of Calvert County

    Commanding a Resurvey of a parcell of land not exceeding

    three acres pursuant to an Act of Assembly, upon wch the

    Courthouse of the said County now standeth, I have there

    fore Resurveyed and laid out for the Use aforesaid all that

    parcell of land on wch the said Court house standeth lying in

    Calvert County on the East side of patuxent river and the

    North side of Battle Creeke and Begining at a Locust now

         wth four notches and runing North fourteen perches to

    a Stake then East fourteen perches, to another Stake, then

    South ten perches to the Creeke side aforesaid then downe the

    Creeke as the Creeke runneth to the first Locust Containing

    one Acre and eight square perches of land this 19th day of

    Augt 1702 p me          Batson Survr

                         of Calvert County
