And her Majesty's order in Council relating to passing the
Law af^d being first Read the honble Council appointed upon
this Conference propose to the Conferees of the Honble
House of Delegates that there be a Law made for regulating
of Ordinarys and appropriating the fines thereof to her
Majesty's Secretary of the Province of Maryland for the Time
being pursuant to her said Majesty's Order in Council af^d and
offered their Reasons therefore Which being fully debated
the said Conferees of the House of Delegates could not agree
thereto believing that the Secretary has no Right to the same
Thereupon the said Conference being Ended they withdrew
to their several places
