The proceedings of Saturday were read and approved.
The President laid before the Convention the following
reports from the Clerks to the County Commissioners of
Kent and Talbot counties:

Sir:—The aggregate amount of property assessed in this
county in 1866 was $8,021,287. The property exempted by
the last Legislature will reduco the amount considerably.
