Re-committed to the committee on Ways and Means.
The bill entitled, an Act to amend an Act entitled, an Act
to incorporate a company for Use purpose of cutting and
making a Canal between the River Delaware and the Chesa-
peake Bay, passed at November session, 1799; chapter 16,
and also to amend a Supplement thereeto ;
Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
