Mr, Neilson proposed the following amendment:

Section 179, strike out all down to word " except," and
insert, "to housekeepers or other persons, whether licensed to
sell spirtious or fermented liquors or not, shall sell dispose of,
or barter any spiritous or fermented liquors, or cordials of
any kind on the Sabbath day, commonly called Sunday ;"

Which was adopted.

Mr. Buhrman proposed the following amendment :

Strike out section 179, line two, all after the word " ex-
cept," to the word " when," in line three.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Neilson proposed the following amendment:

Section 179, line 9, strike out all after the word "col-
lected," and insert, "and if any party licensed to sell spirit-
ous or fermented liquors, shall be convicted a second time for
a like offence, his or her license shall be declared null and
void by the court in which such conviction is had;"

Which was adopted.

Mr. Calvert proposed the following amendment:

Strike out section 180.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Whitaker proposed the following amendment;

Amend section 180, by striking out in line one, from the
word " within " to "shall," and insert the city of Balti-
more ;

Pending the consideration of whiich,

Mr. Kraft moved to strike out the enacting clause of the
bill,
