The bill entitled, an Act making appropriations for the
year ending on 31st December, 1867, and,

Also, the bill entitled, an Act making appropriations for
the year ending on the 31st day of December, 1868,

Were taken up for consideration, and their further consid-
eration postponed, and the bills made the order of the day for
Wednesday, March 20th, at one o'clock, P. M.
On motion of Mr. Jones,

The House took up for consideration the bill entitled, an
Act to repeal sub-section two of section five enacted as part
of the fifth section of the 37th article of the Code of Public
General Laws, relating to the competency of witnesses by the
Act of 1864, chapter 109, and to enact another provision in
lieu of said substitute so repealed.

The bill then being upon its passage,
On motion of Mr. Bishop,

A call of the House was ordered.
