Mr. Garey presented

The petition of T. F. Garey and 100 other citizens of Caro-
line county asking amendment to Constitution relating to
Militia.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Militia.

Mr. Garey presented the petition of T. F. Garey, and
one hundred other citizens of Caroline county, asking repeal
of laws relating to publications of county expenses

Also,

Petition from T. F. Garey, and one hundred other citizens
of Caroline county, asking amendment to Constitution of
1867, relating to the, Registration of voters.

Also.

Petition from T. F. Garey, and one hundred other citizens
of Caroline county, asking amendment to Constitution re-
lating to the intermediate law term.

Which were severally read, and referred to the Committee
on Judiciary.

Mr. Garey presented the petition of T. F. Garey, and
eight other citizens of Caroline county, asking the repeal of
road law for Caroline county.

Which was read, and referred to the Caroline delegation,
and Mr. Hammond, of Talbot.

Mr. Duke submitted the following order :

Ordered, Leave of absence be granted H. Owings to visit
his sick family.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Duke submitted the following order :

Ordered, That John T. Dawkins, Committee Clerk, have
leave of absence from Friday morning until Wednesday
morning next

Which was adopted.
Mr. Webb submitted the following order :

Ordered, That when this House adjourns to-morrow, that
it stand adjourned until Monday next, at 12 o'clock, M.

Which was read.

Mr. Baldwin, of Anne Arundel, moved to lay the order
on the table.

Decided in the negative.
