Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.
On motion by Mr. Maddox,

The Senate took up for consideration House bill entitled, an Act
to amend the Act of 1868, chapter 292, adding an additional
section to Article 51, of the Code of Public General Laws,
under the title of "Landlord and Tenant," by repeal of said
Act, and re-enacting the same.

The question being upon the adoption of the unfavorable
report of the Committee on Judicial Proceedings, submitted
March 23.

On the question being put,
It was determined in the negative.
Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Maddox moved that said bill be read the third time
this day.
