The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing bill:

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 535, Article 4, of
the Code of Public Local Laws for the City of Baltimore, sub-
title, "' Tobacco," and to enact a substitute therefor.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from the Tobacco growing counties.

Mr. Compton reported the above bill without amendment,
and moved that it be read the second time this day.
