CHAPTER 88.

AN ACT to add a new Section to the Code of
Public Local Laws for Cecil County, under the
title of Schools, for the purpose of apportioning
the Academic Fund of said County among the
several academies thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the annual donation of twelve hundred dollars, known as the Academic Fund of Cecil County, be and the same is hereby appor- tioned among the following named Academies of said County, as follows: To the Elkton Academy the sum of five hundred dollars; to the West Nottingham Academy the sum of five hundred dollars; to the North-East Classical Seminary the sum of two hundred dollars; said sums to he paid annually.	Academic fund.
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer, on the warrant of the Comptroller, is hereby au- thorized to pay annually, on the first day of April in each year, the said sum of five hundred dollars to said Elkton Academy, and the said sum of five hundred dollars to said West Nottingham Acade- my, and the said sum of two hundred dollars to said North-East Classical Seminary.	Treasurer to Pay.
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act he and the same are hereby repealed.	Repealed.
Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from and after its passage. Approved March 12, 1870.	In force.
