Sec. 10. And be it enacted, That the Act of
eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, Chapter four
hundred and eleven, and the Act of eighteen hun-
dred and fifty-two, Chapter one hundred and sev-
enty-one, and Sections one hundred and fifty-five,
one hundred and fifty-six, and one hundred and
fifty-seven of Article three of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Baltimore County, title "Roads,"
be and the same are hereby repealed.
Sec. 11. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts
of acts inconsistent with the provisions of this act
be and the same are hereby repealed.

Sec. 12. And be it unacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 100.
|

AN ACT entitled an Act to repeal Article eight
of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State
of Maryland, from Section one hundred and
fourteen to one hundred and thirty-three, in-
clusive; title, Cecil County; sub-title, North-
East, and re-enact the same with amendments.
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Article eight of the Code of
Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, from
Section one hundred and fourteen to one hundred
and thirty-three, inclusive, be and the same is
hereby repealed, and the following Sections
enacted in lieu thereof;

114. The citizens of the village of North-East,
in Cecil County, are a body politic, by the name
of "The President and Commissioners of the vil-
lage of North-East," and by their corporate name
may sue and be sued, grant, receive and do all
other acts as natural persons; may purchase and
hold real, personal and mixed property, and dis-
pose of the same for the benefit of said village,
and may have and use a common seal, which may
be broken and altered at pleasure.
