The House bill entitled an Act for the relief of Mary Jones, of Harford county. Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Finance. The House bill entitled an Act to amend the Code of Pub- lic Local Laws, title "Queen Anne's County," by adding thereto the following section authorizing the qualified voters of Kent Island District No. 4, of said county, to determine by ballot, whether spirituous or fermented liquors shall or shall not be sold within the limits of said Election District. Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Finance. The House bill entitled an Act to refund to Truman Belt & Sons, of Baltimore City, for the benefit of William D. Bowie, senior. Clement Hill, Mordecai S. Plummer, Washington G. Beall and others, erroneously paid by them to Inspector of Tobacco in Baltimore City, for storage and outage. Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Finance. The House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to pay the claims of B. Duncan Smith, Thomas S. Nutwick and others. Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Finance. On motion, The Senate adjourned |
