Kilty observes on this, p. 220 of his Report, that the long enjoyment of a right may make people forget the origin of it, but this right (though possibly included,) not being expressly mentioned in our declaration of rights, it is proper that this Statute should be continued. This, with other Statutes to a similar effect, is recited in the preamble to 16 Car. 1, c. 10, the Act abolishing the Star-Chamber.
