LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Purposes.

which said company is hereby authorized to effect,

 

are the building or constructing and using a railroad

 

or railroads, laying down the rails, ties, &c., running

 

cars for passengers and freight, drawn by horses,

 

mules, or steam engines, on tracks to be laic} from

 

Easton to Easton Point, on Tred-Avon Creek, from

 

Easton to Miles River bridge, or other points on

 

Miles River from Easton to Dover bridge, or other

 

convenient point on Choptank River, with full and

 

ample powers to do whatever may be required for

 

public accommodation and convenience, in keeping

 

in good order and repair the streets and roads through

 

which said railway may pass.

 

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the president and

 

directors of said company shall have power to issue
