CHAPTER 285.

 

AN ACT to add new sections to article ten of the

 

Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Attach-

 

ments," and to be sub-title "Claimants of Prop-

 

erty."

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That article ten of the Code of Public

Amended.

General Laws, entitled "Attachments," be amended

 

by adding thereto the following sections under the

 

sub-title of "Claimants of Property."

 

SEC. 45. In all attachments and writs of execution

 

whenever the same shall be levied upon any personal

 

property, goods or chattels, which are claimed by a

fendant or defendants in said attachment or writ of

 

execution, such person or persons or corporation

 

may file a petition with the court issuing such at-

 

tachment or writ of execution, or with the court
