4. The writ of habeas corpus shall be served by

AN ACT to incorporate a company tor the estab-

|

lishment of a public cemetery at Elkton, Mary-
|
 
|
|
land.
|
 
|
|
WHEREAS, it has been made apparent to this Gen,
|
 
|
|
eral Assembly that a cemetery or place of burial, is
|

desired by the inhabitants of Elkton and its vicinity,

and for the purpose of effectuating the wishes and
|
 
|
|
intentions of the said citizens.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That Thomas Drennen, Richard C. Mack-
|
 
|
|
all, John Partridge, William H. Eden, John H.
|

|
|
Jamar and William J. Jones, of Cecil county and
|
 
|
|
their successors, be and the same are hereby created
|
 
|
|
a body politic and corporate, by the name and title
|
 
|
|
of the Elkton cemetery, and by that name shall have
|
 
|
|
perpetual succession, and be able to sue and be sued,
|
