SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-


bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the


Treasury be and he is hereby authorized and direct-


ed to issue his warrant on the treasurer to pay Lit-


tleton Dennis, thirty-six dollars; George T. Mel-


vin, forty dollars; I. M. Street, forty dollars;


Maryland Independent, forty dollars ; Eph. G. Polk,

Issue war-

thirty- six dollars and seventy-five cents; A. J. Mer-

rant.

rill, forty dollars ; L. F. Colton and Company, thirty


dollars; W.W. Busteed, twenty-five dollars; Cen-


treville Record, twenty-five dollars; Adams and


Herbert, fifteen dollars ; J. B. Oder and Brother,


twenty-four dollars; Thomas K. Robson, twenty


dollars ; B. Everitt Smith and Son, twenty dollars ;
