                                                                              the Said Lawrence y^e 31^th day of 8ber in y^e year of o^r Lord 1693 //at Monocan

                                                                             within the Jurisdiction of this Court was indebted to the Said ffrancis in the Sum of

Eleavon hundred Sixty Seaven pounds of Tobacco being for Sundry goods & Merchandizes by y^e Said ffrancis to the said Lawrence Sold

and delivered, and the Said Lawrence to the Said ffrancis in manner aforesd being indebted did assume upon himself and to the sd ffrancis

then & there faithfully promise that he the Said Lawrence when requested would well & truely Content & pay Nevertheless the Said

Lawrence his promise and assumption aforesd not regarding but minding & fraudulently intending him the Said ffrancis to deceive

the Same to the Said ffrancis hath not paid to the damage of the Said ffrancis of Eighteen hundred Ponds of Tobacco and thereon
