(iv) Any restricted license.

[(c) The fee for issuance of each class of license listed in subsection (b) of this
section is:

(1) Master well driller license...............................................................$100;

(2) Journeyman well driller license ........................................................$40;

(3) Apprentice well driller license...................................................$10; and

(4) Restricted licenses ...........................................................................$50.]

(c) Before the license expires, the licensee periodically may renew it for an
additional 2-year term if the licensee:

(1) Otherwise is entitled to be licensed;

(2) Pays to the Board a renewal fee [of $50, except that a master well
driller shall pay a renewal fee of $100 and an apprentice well driller shall pay a renewal
fee of $10] SET BY THE BOARD; and

(3) Submits to the Board:

(i) A renewal application on the form that the Board requires; and

(ii) Satisfactory evidence of compliance with the performance bond
and contractor's liability insurance requirements of the Board; and

(iii) Satisfactory evidence of compliance with any continuing
education requirement established under this subtitle for license renewal, except
licensees designated as apprentice licensees A and B by the Board.

Subject to the Program Evaluation Act, the provisions of this title and all rules
and regulations adopted under this title creating the State Board of Well Drillers and
relating to the regulation of well drillers are of no effect and may not be enforced after
[July 1, 1991] JULY 1, 2001.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1990.
