Ch. 280 LAWS OF MARYLAND
BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
Article - Transportation
23-301.
(a) In this subtitle, the following words have the meanings indicated.
(b) "Division" means the Automotive Safety Enforcement Division of the
(c) "Equipment" includes all mechanisms that form part of or relate to vehicle
(d) "Vehicle" means any vehicle registered in this State as:
(1) A Class E (truck) vehicle with a registered or operating gross vehicle
(2) A Class F (tractor) vehicle;
(3) A Class G (freight trailer or freight semitrailer) vehicle; [or]
(4) A Class P (passenger bus) vehicle; OR
(5) A CLASS M (MULTIPURPOSE) VEHICLE
(I) IS USED PRIMARILY TO TRANSPORT PASSENGERS;
AND
(II) L HAS A SEATING CAPACITY FOR 16 PASSENGERS
23-302.
(a) An owner of a vehicle shall have the vehicle inspected, maintained, and
