cycles, one number plate or marker shall be furnished, the let-
ters and figures thereon to be at least one inch high and one-
eighth of an inch in width. The certificate provided for in this
section and the right to use the number plate or marker afore-
said shall expire at midnight on December 31st of each and
every year.

Fees for Registration of Motor Vehicles.

141. The following fees shall be paid to the Commissioner
of Motor Vehicles for the certificates of registration issued by
him in accordance with the provisions of this sub-title:

Class A. Fifty cents per horse-power or fraction thereof in
the case of all motor vehicles having pneumatic tires, with a
minimum charge of five dollars for any motor vehicle.

Class B. Eight dollars ($8. 00) for each motor vehicle
equipped with solid tires and having a rating carrying capacity
of not more than one ton, and six dollars ($6. 00) additional
for each additional ton of carrying capacity. Five Dollars
($5. 00) for each vehicle trailed or propelled by any motor
vehicle.

Class C. Three dollars ($3. 00) per annum for each certifi-
cate of registration of a motor-cycle.

Class D. Twenty dollars ($20. 00) for the first two sets of
registration tags issued each manufacturer or dealer in motor
vehicles other than motor-cycles, and ten dollars ($10. 00) per
year for each additional set of registration tags issued such
manufacturer or dealer. Such registration tags shall be inter-
changeable among the cars owned or used by such manufac-
turer or dealer during the current year in which issued. No
such dealer's tags shall be used on any car engaged in trans-
portation for hire or livery business.

Class E. Eight dollars ($8. 00) per annum for each four
registration tags issued a dealer in motor-cycles and two dol-
lars ($2. 00) for each additional registration tag issued such
dealer, such tags to be interchangeable as in the case of dealers
in other motor vehicles.

Class F. One dollar ($1. 00) per horse power or fraction
thereof in the case of all motor vehicles operating for the pur-
pose of transporting persons for hire upon any of the public
highways of this State other than motor vehicles operating on
fixed schedules the registration fees of which are fixed by other
specific provisions of Law, and provided that said charge shall
be in lieu of all other taxes, fees or charges of every kind upon
