witnesses before the Circuit Court; provided, however, that no
witnesses shall be paid either per diem or mileage who shall
not have been regularly summoned by said Magistrate.

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1927.

CHAPTER 665.

AN ACT to incorporate the town of Fairmount Heights, in
Prince 'George's County, by the name of the Mayor and
Common Council of Fairmount Heights with all the powers
and privileges of a body politic and corporate and by said
corporate name to have perpetual succession, sue and be
sued, plead and be impleaded, in any Court of law or equity,
to have and use a common seal, to purchase and hold real, per-
sonal and mixed property and to sell and dispose of the
same for the benefit of said town.

THE TOWN OF FAIRMOUNT HEIGHTS.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,, That the citizens of the sub-divisions of Fairmount
Heights, North Fairmount Heights, West' Fairmount Heights,
Waterford, and Sylvan Vista, in Prince George's County,
Maryland, be and that they are hereby created a body corporate
by the name of the Mayor and Common Council of Fairmount
Heights with all the powers and privileges of a body politic
Corporate and by said Corporate name may have perpetual
succession, sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded, in any
Court of law or equity, may have and use a common Seal,
may purchase and hold real, personal and mixed property and
sell and dispose of the same for the benefit of said town.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the limits
of said town shall be as follows: Commencing at a stone
on the Southwest corner or point of Ellen Adams prop-
erty on Eastern Avenue North East, thence along East-
ern Avenue N. E. in a northerly direction to the intersection
of said Eastern Avenue to the sheriff road; thence East along
the South line of the said sheriff road to the East line of the
