SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 972 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1943 Flack's Edition), be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
972. The Commission is hereby authorized and directed to
hold meetings, conduct hearings and perform any or all of the
duties vested in it by this sub-title at whichever of its offices
shall in the judgment of the Commission best suit the con-
venience of the public in each case; provided, however, that
in Prince George's County the Commission shall give notice in
writing of all hearings upon application for zoning to the gov-
erning body of such municipality when the land sought to be
zoned lies within a municipality or is immediately adjacent
thereto.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article! 5 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Appeals and Er-
rors", sub-title "Appeals in Criminal Cases", said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 88A and to follow immediately
after Section 88 of said Article, providing for Appeals in
criminal cases where an oath "forma paupris" is filed.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section is hereby added to Article 5 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Appeals
and Errors", sub-title "Appeals in Criminal Cases", said new
section to be known as Section 88A, to follow immediately
after Section 88 of said Article and to read as follows:
88A. In any case where a sentence of death is imposed, and
the defendant files an oath "forma paupris" within thirty days
of the date of sentence together with a notice of appeal, the
