person to transport or carry or cause to be transported or
carried by any means whatsoever, any black bass or pike into
or from the State of Maryland during the months of April,
May and June in each and every year.
77. During the open season, it shall be unlawful for any
person to catch, take or kill in any manner, or have in pos-
session any black bass less than ten (10) inches in length
or any pike less than fourteen (14) inches in length. It shall
be unlawful during the open season, for any person to catch
by means of rod, hook and line, more than ten (10) black
bass or pike in any one day.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the sub-title "Black
Bass" be and it is hereby changed to " "Black Bass and Pike. "
" Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

(House Bill 845)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 445
of the Prince George County Code (1943 Edition—being
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Prince George's County", sub-title "County Treasur-
er", increasing the amount allowed the County Treasurer of
Prince George's County for clerks.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 445 of the Prince George's County Code
(1943 Edition—being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's County", sub-title
"County Treasurer", be and it is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted, with amendments, to read as follows:
445. The Treasurer shall be entitled to appoint such clerk
or clerks as he may deem necessary, and for whose official con-
duct he shall be responsible, said clerk or clerks to be paid
by the Treasurer out of the salary provided by law to be paid
him as compensation for the discharge of his official duties
as the collector of taxes, but in addition thereto the County
Commissioners shall allow and pay over to said Treasurer for
clerk hire the sum of $9, 000. 00 yearly, to be paid to the said
Treasurer in monthly installments; and the said amount of
