VALUATION AND ASSESSMENT OF PROPERTY

IN THIS STATE— The costs of sending up transcript

of valuations on any appeal, etc. to be defrayed

by the respective counties or city of Balti-

more; and all other costs incurred in court

of Appeals, except legal or other fees to

attornies, etc. to be paid upon the requisi-

tion of the Governor out of the treasury,

If in consequence of the opinions ex-

pressed by the court of Appeals, correction

be made in valuation of property, etc. the

proper clerk, as soon as practicable after

such correction, shall prepare one other cor-

rected summary account, etc. in which shall

be clearly expressed the estates, etc. of eve-

ry sort, and the value thereof affixed, and

whole value in each district extended, and

amount of each column, and lay the same

before levy court, etc. who after examina-

tion, etc. shall sign and enclose the. same,

etc. to Treas. Western or Eastern Shore,

etc.; appeal tax court to perform same du-

ties, etc.

Shores to make out annually between 1st

days of January and March, for and trans-

mit through mail to the levy courts, etc. to

mayor, etc. to be laid before appeal tax

court, etc. a list of all certificates ready for

patents, etc.; and the clerks of county

courts annually, between the days before

stated, to make out for and deliver to the

levy court, etc. a list of alienations of real

or household property entered upon record
