county, and obtained a deed therefor, and afterwards gave a mort-
gage of said land for the purpose of securing the payment of the
purchase money. And whereas, It appears from a release of said
mortgage executed by the said Thomas Jenkins to the said James
Dossey (of John,) and hearing date on the twelfth day of Decem-

which it appears that the purchase money aforesaid, hath been fully
satisfied and paid; and which said release hath been recorded in
the clerk's office of Calvert county, as appears from a certificate of
the said clerk. And whereas, Doubts are entertained of the vali-
dity of the said release of mortgage so executed as aforesaid, and
it appearing just and reasonable that the prayer of the petitioner
should be granted; Therefore,
