300) Between James Baldwin of Prince Georges County Planter of the first part James Maccubbin of Ann Arundel County Merchant of the Second Part and Zachariah Hood of Ann Arundel County Merchant of the third part Witnesseth that the said James Baldwin for and in Consideration of the Sum of Ten Shillings Current Money to him in hand paid by the said James Maccubbin at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for divers other good Causes and Considerations him thereunto Moving hath given granted released and Confirmed and by these Presents doth give grant release and Confirm unto the Said James Maccubbin and his Heirs all that Tract or Portion of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Baldwins Chance lying on the North side of South River Beginning at a Markt Maple standing at the end of the South fifty Six degrees East Line of the Land laid out for Charles Griffith and running thence North fifty six degrees West twenty five perches then North thirty seven and an half Degree East one hundred and Ninety five perches then south seventy eight degrees East Ninety one perches then south thirty seven and an half Degree West two hundred and four Perches and thence to the Beginning Tree containing One hundred and five Acres of Land More or less with all and Singular the Premisses and Appurtenances to the same belonging or Appertaining To have and to Hold the said Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances hereby given Granted released and Confirmed or Mentioned or intended to be hereby given Granted released and Confirmed unto the said James Maccubbin his Heirs and Assigns for ever to the intent and Purpose that the said James Maccubbin may be a perfect (Tenant) |
