approx. 169.0826 acres of land located to the northwest of the present
corporate boundaries and adjacent thereto and extending along Goshen
Road and Emory Grove Road.

WHEREAS, the signatures of the said Petition of Consent have been
verified and it has been ascertained that the persons signing said Petition
are owners of not less than twenty-five percentum (25%) of the assessed
valuation of the real property located in the area to be annexed and repre-
sent at least twenty-five percentum (25%) of the persons who reside in the
area to be annexed and who are registered as voters in County elections.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council
of the City of Gaithersburg that the Charter of the City of Gaithersburg be
and it is hereby amended by adding a new section thereto to read as
follows:

The corporate boundaries of the City of Gaithersburg be and they
hereby are enlarged by including therein the following area:

"Description of a tract of land as conveyed to Eugene B. Casey in
Liber 2119 at Folio 92

Parts of tracts of land called "CRABBS FORTRESS", "ALL I CAN
GET" and etc. located in the Ninth Election District of Montgomery
County, Maryland and more particularly described as follows:

PARCEL ONE:

Beginning for the same at a pipe found at the beginning of the 15th
line of a conveyance to Lawson King by deed recorded in Liber 1041 at
Folio 401 among the Land Records of Montgomery County, Maryland and
running thence with the 15th, 16th and part of the 17th lines thereof as
resurveyed and with bearings referred to the Washington Suburban Sani-
tary Commission meridian

1.    S 45° 53' 35" W 33.00 feet, thence

2.    S 45° 53' 35" W 1125.23 feet to a stone found, thence

3.    S 18° 33' 36" W 375.34 feet to a pipe found on the northeast cor-
ner of the Warden W. Reed tract for 13.1691 acres as recorded in Liber 792
at Folio 319 among said Land Records, thence leaving the outlines of the
King tract and running with the north line of the Reed tract

4.    N 67° 11' 06" W 1338.58 feet to intersect the east right of way line
of Goshen Road as shown on a plat of same recorded in Plat Book 17,
Plat 1087 among said Land Records, passing over a pipe found at the end
of 1328.51 feet on said line, thence running with the east right of way
line of Goshen Road, as shown on the aforementioned plat, the following
