$1,060,000 is contingent upon enabling legis-
lation authorizing a new pay plan for uni-
formed personnel within Maryland State

required as a result of salary adjustments.
Authorization is hereby granted to use
Special and Federal Funds for this purpose,
in the amount of $8,297,500 to be payable out
of revenues and grants which are the source
of funds for the payment of budget appro-
priations payable out of Special and Federal
Funds; this amount being estimated and it
being the intent that the actual amount,
whether it be more or less, shall be made
available in allocating by budget amendment
to the various State agencies the amounts
necessary to supplement the appropriations.
