2378 MUNICIPAL CHARTERS
I, Harry W. Kelley, Mayor of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland, a Maryland
municipal corporation, being the chief executive officer of said municipal
corporation, do hereby give notice to the
Secretary of State of Maryland and to the State Department of Legislative
Reference, that the Charter of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland has been
amended as follows:
1. Section Amended - Section 188 T
Complete text of resolution amending said section of said charter is attached
hereto. The date of the resolution is 10 March 1964,
2. Referendum Election - There was no Referendum Election nor was there any
Petition for Referendum filed.
3. Effective Date - Said amendment became effective 50 days after the date of
resolution, said effective date therefore being 29 April 1969.
4. Votes Cast - The amendment was by way of legislative enactment by a
unanimous vote of 7 Councilmen for and none against and was thereupon
approved by the then Mayor, Hugh Thomas Cropper.

CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION of the Council of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City
adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11E of the Constitution of Maryland
and Section 13 of Article 23 A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume), title "Corporations -
Municipal," sub-title "Home Rule," to amend the Charter of the Mayor and City
Council of Ocean City, as set forth in Sections 170 to 208K, inclusive, of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Worcester County (1961 Edition and 1968 Supplement,
being Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), as amended, by
adding a new Section 188T thereto providing that the Mayor and City Council of
Ocean City may issue bond anticipation notes in anticipation of the issuance and
sale of its bonds; providing that such bond anticipation notes may be sold at
private sale; prescribing the procedure for the issuance of such bond anticipation
notes; providing for covenants concerning the payment of the principal and interest
of such bond anticipation notes; and generally relating to the issuance and sale of
bond anticipation notes by the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City.
Section 1. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Mayor and City Council
of Ocean City that the Charter of said municipal corporation as set forth in
Sections 170 to 208K, inclusive, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Worcester
County (1961 Edition and 1968 Supplement, being Article 24 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by
adding new Section 188T thereto, to follow immediately after Section 188S, as
