DESCRIPTION OF THE BOUNDARIES OF LAND TO BE TENTATIVELY
ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF SALISBURY. MARYLAND AND
SITUATED ADJACENT TO AND BINDING UPON THE EASTERLY
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SALISBURY. MARYLAND

EXHIBIT A

All that piece or parcel of land situated adjacent to and binding upon the
easterly corporate limits of the City of Salisbury, Wicomico County and State of
Maryland, being bounded and abutted as follows: that is to say beginning at a
brass city survey marker stamped "B.E. I" and set in concrete Eastings
1,207,477.61 Northings 200,259.14 said point being the vertex of the existing
corporate limits at approximately 1900 feet east from Truitt Street on the
northerly right-of-way line of Baltimore and Eastern Railroad Company property;
thence by and with said right-of-way line North seventy-eight degrees fourteen
minutes twenty seconds East two thousand one hundred and forty-six decimal
seven, one (2,146.71) feet to a brass city survey marker stamped "CHRIS" and set
in concrete Eastings 1,209,579.25 Northings 200,696.71; thence to, by, and with the
easterly property line of Acme store South three degrees thirty-four minutes
fifty-three seconds East six hundred and sixty-seven decimal four, eight (667.48)
feet to a P.K. nail on the north curb line of State Road 346 also called "Old
Ocean City Road" Eastings 1,209,620.95 Northings 200,030.53 said curb line also
being the northerly right-of-way of State Road 346; thence by and with said
right-of-way line South eighty-seven degrees ten minutes fifty-six seconds West two
hundred and fourteen decimal one, nine (214.19) feet to a P.K. nail Eastings
1,209,407.02 Northings 200,020.00; thence South four degrees twenty-eight minutes
thirty-nine seconds East two hundred and twelve decimal four, six (212.46) feet to
an iron axle Eastings 1,209,423.60 Northings 199,808.19 said point being southeast
property corner of Webster & Elizabeth Mitcherling; thence South eighty-seven
degrees twenty-six minutes forty-four seconds West four hundred and thirty-two
decimal one, six (432.16) feet to a P.K. nail on the east curbline of Civic Avenue
162 feet south from State Road 346 Eastings 1,208,991.87 Northings 199,788.93;
thence South eighty degrees thirty-nine minutes twenty-eight seconds West three
hundred and fourteen decimal three, one (314.31) feet to a cement post on the
easterly right-of-way line of Eastern Avenue Eastings 1,208,681.73 Northings
199,737.91 said point also being the southwest property corner of Sun Oil
Company; thence South seventy degrees thirty-five minutes thirty-three seconds
West five hundred and four decimal one, one (504.11) feet to an iron pipe on the
existing corporate limits Eastings 1,208,206.26 Northings 199,507.40 said point
also being the southwest property corner of Phillip H. Banks, Inc.; thence by and
with said corporate line North sixteen degrees fifty-one minutes forty-nine seconds
West one hundred and eighty-seven decimal six, five (187.65) feet to a point at the
intersection of East Main Street and East Church Street Eastings 1,208,151.83
Northings 199,749.98; thence still by and with the existing corporate limit
North fifty-two degrees fifty-six minutes twenty-six seconds West eight hundred
and forty-four decimal eight, eight (844.88) feet more or less to the point of
beginning and containing approximately 31.05 acres.

All bearings and coordinates are referred to the Maryland State Coordinate
System.
