SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 451 of Article 23 - Corporations,
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement
Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed
and re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
Article 23 — Corporations

A nonstock, nonprofit corporation is created, which
shall be known as the Maryland Credit Union Insurance
Corporation, and the members of which shall be (certain
eligible] credit union associations ORGANIZED UNDER THE
LAMS of this State[, as defined in § 135 of Article 11],
Except as otherwise provided in this subheading, the
corporation possesses all the powers, privileges, and
immunities which now are or hereafter may be conferred on
corporations by the general corporation law applicable to
corporations organized thereunder. The board of
directors may adopt and promulgate bylaws, rules, and
regulations which conform to the reasonable intent and
purposes of this subheading. The rules and regulations
adopted shall be filed with the Bank Commissioner.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
624 of Article 27 — Crimes and Punishments, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and
1974 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

When any indictment shall be found or information
filed against any corporation, joint stock company or
association it shall and may be lawful for the clerk of
court to issue a summons directed to the said
corporation, joint stock company or association, in its
corporate name, to appear at the said court to answer to
