SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 4-1016(b) of Article - Natural
Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume
and 1975 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
Article — Natural Resources
4-1016.
(b) Every boat, vessel, or vehicle used by a
licensed oyster buyer in purchasing oysters shall be
licensed annually at a fee of $5 for each boat, vessel,
or vehicle. Proof of ownership of the boat, vessel, or
vehicle is required. The department shall issue a [metal]
plate or tag carrying the license number for each boat,
vessel, or vehicle license and it shall be attached
securely to the boat, vessel, or vehicle for which it is
issued. The fee is $ 1 to replace any license tag issued
pursuant to the provisions of this section.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning
Maryland Environmental Service — Contracts
FOR the purpose of abolishing the requirement that the
Maryland Environmental Service establish a service
district under each contract with a municipality or
person providing for a water supply, wastewater
purification or solid waste disposal project; and
authorizing the Maryland Environmental Service to
establish a service district by contract with any
municipality or person.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
