and every person so arrested and in his custody, shall
release such person or persons, and shall pay over the
amount or amounts so collected, after deducting all
costs, as aforesaid, as the same would be paid were it a
fine imposed by the circuit court.]

[133A.

Notwithstanding the provisions of   §§ 131 through 133

of this article in Baltimore County it   is not the duty of

the Sheriff or his deputies to enforce   the provisions of
these sections.]

[134.

It shall not be necessary for a conviction for
violations of any of the provisions of this subtitle for
the State to prove that any person or persons charged
with any such violations has or have no permanent place
of abode in this State, but the burden of proving that
such person or persons have a permanent place of abode in
this State shall be upon the traverser.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Commercial Law — Posting Date Open End Account

[[FOR the purpose of requiring the posting date on
monthly statements of open end accounts to be the
date of receipt by the seller of payment from the
buyer; prohibiting the imposition of the finance
charge for certain months in certain cases; and
generally]] FOR the purpose of requiring that

payment shall be credited to the customer's account

as of the date the creditor receives payment;

prohibiting the imposition of certain charges under

certain conditions; establishing certain payment
procedures; and generally relating to the posting

date on open end accounts monthly statements.

[[BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,]]
