AND LOWER CASE TYPE;

(4) THE SIGNATURE OF THE SELLER; AND

(5) THE SIGNATURE OF THE BUYER ACKNOWLEDGING AN
EXCLUSION OR MODIFICATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES.

(C) AN AGENT OR OTHER PERSON MAY NOT BE AUTHORIZED TO
AND MAY NOT SIGN THE FORM ON BEHALF OF THE BUYER.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

(House Bill 1037)

AN ACT concerning

Agriculture - Grain Storage Indemnity Fund

FOR the purpose of establishing a Grain Storage Indemnity
Fund for use in indemnifying grain producers against
certain losses; providing that the fund shall be
administered by the Maryland Department of Agriculture;
providing that certain assessments shall be made upon
grain dealers and imposing upon grain dealers certain
reporting requirements; providing for the investment of
funds; establishing an Indemnification Administration
Fund for use in administering the indemnification
program; providing for the ways in which funds may be
used; providing that no payments may be made from the
Grain Indemnity Fund until the Fund reaches a certain
amount; establishing reporting requirements for the
Maryland Department of Agriculture; providing for a
hearing in the Maryland Department of Agriculture for
certain grievances; establishing penalties; and
generally relating to the establishment of a Grain
Storage Indemnity Fund.

BY adding to

Article - Agriculture

Section 13-101 through 13-106 13-108, inclusive, to be
under the new title "Title 13. Grain" and the
new subtitle "Subtitle 1. Grain Storage
Indemnity Fund"
