provided for herein, is reached. The properties within the
area which may be added to the sanitary district pursuant to
the agreement shall not be subject to the direct ad valorem
tax levied upon assessable property for the amortization of
the bonds heretofore issued for the Anacostia River flood
control and navigation project under [section 83-118(e)
(73-98(e)) of this subtitle] SECTION 13-7(E) OF THIS
ARTICLE, but otherwise the jurisdiction of the Washington
Suburban Sanitary Commission and all the rules and
regulations of the commission and all provisions of law,
whether in this [subtitle] ARTICLE or elsewhere stated,
relating to the Washington Suburban Sanitary District and to
any subdistrict thereof in which the added area may be
placed by the commission pursuant to the provisions of
chapter 726 of the Acts of 1963, shall be extended to and
applied to and in the area added to the Washington Suburban
Sanitary District pursuant to this Act, when added to the
district according to the procedures herein stated.
19-54. Rural water areas generally — Created; defined.
(a) The areas herein described are hereby created as
rural water areas under the jurisdiction of the Washington
Suburban Sanitary Commission created by chapter 122 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1918:
(b) All that area in the Colesville, Olney and Wheaton
election districts of Montgomery County within the following
described boundaries: Beginning for the same at a point on
the existing boundary of the Washington Suburban Sanitary
District, [said] THE point being 500 feet north of the north
side of the road running between Spencerville and Brown's
Corner and 500 feet east of the east side of the
Colesville-Ashton Road, and running thence in a generally
northerly direction east of and 500 feet distant from and
parallel to the east side of the Colesville-Ashton Road to a
point 200 feet south of the south line of Cedar Lane, thence
in a generally northeasterly direction, south of, 200 feet
distant from and parallel to the south line of Cedar Lane to
intersect the southerly prolongation of the ninth or south
32° 49' 40" east, 2453.95 foot line of a deed from Edith B.
Thomas, widow, to Stores, Inc., dated May 21, 1958, and
recorded among the land records of Montgomery County,
Maryland, in liber 2466 at folio 479, thence in a generally
northwesterly direction reversely with and along [said] THE
southerly prolongation of [said] THE ninth deed line to the
end of [said] THE ninth deed line, thence in a generally
northwesterly direction reversely with and along [said] THE
ninth line of the aforesaid deed and the northerly
prolongation of [said] THE ninth deed line to a point 200
feet north of the north line of Tucker Lane, thence in a
generally southwesterly direction, north of, 200 feet
distant from and parallel to the north line of Tucker Lane
to a point 500 feet east of the Colesville-Ashton Road,
thence in a generally northerly direction, east of, 500 feet
distant from, and parallel to the east line of the
Colesville-Ashton Road to a point 500 feet north of the
