AN ACT concerning

Pensions - Pension System for Sheriffs of Harford County

FOR the purpose of creating the Pension System for Sheriffs of
Harford County of the State of Maryland, providing for
definitions; name and date of establishment, membership,

eligibility service, creditable service, benefits,

adjustment of retirement allowances, administration,

management of funds, indemnification of fiduciaries, method
of financing, computations and contributions, participation
and liabilities, exemptions from executions, protection

against fraud, audits, counseling, entitlement to

membership, duties of fiscal officer, providing for certain
persons in service as of a certain date; and generally
relating to the establishment of a new State pension system
for Sheriffs and Deputy Sheriffs of Harford County.

Pensions - Municipal Corporations - Interim and
Supplemental Benefits

FOR the purpose of authorizing the State Retirement Agency to
provide data and certain assistance to a participating
municipal corporation for certain purposes under certain
circumstances; authorizing the State Retirement Agency to
charge for certain expenses; authorizing a participating
municipal corporation to establish a certain program of
allowances for certain of its officers and employees; and
providing for the funding of this certain program by a
participating municipal corporation.
