(II) In CHARLES, ST. MARY'S, Washington, AND
WORCESTER [County] COUNTIES, members of volunteer fire
departments and rescue squads may be covered under § 34(e) of
this article. [In Worcester County, members of volunteer fire
departments and rescue squads may be covered under § 34(f) of
this article.]

(e) In CHARLES, ST. MARY'S, Washington [County], WICOMICO,
AND WORCESTER COUNTIES, the [County Commissioners] COUNTY COUNCIL
OR COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, AS THE CASE MAY BE, may provide by
resolution for the inclusion, in their respective county, of
members of volunteer fire companies and rescue squads as provided
in subsection (a) of this section.

[(f) In Wicomico and Worcester counties, the county council
or county commissioners, as the case may be, may provide by
resolution for the inclusion, in their respective county, of
members of volunteer fire companies and rescue squads as provided
in subsection (a) of this section.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Charles County - Fire Safety - Real Property -
Use of Barbeque Grills

FOR the purpose of prohibiting, in Charles County, the use of
barbeque grills within certain areas and on balconies of
certain residential dwellings; defining certain terms;
establishing certain penalties; and generally relating to
the use of barbeque grills in certain residential dwellings
in Charles County.
