AN ACT concerning

Reorganization of County Government

FOR the purpose of, and pursuant to Section 502 of the Charter, reorganizing County
government by merging the Office of Finance and the Office of Budget;
abolishing and creating certain bureaus in the Department of Public Works and
the Department of Environmental Protection and Resource Management;
transferring certain functions in relation to the Metropolitan District to the
Department of Public Works Director and Department of Public Works; creating
a certain panel to hear and decide certain appeals; placing certain functions and
duties of County Government under the authority of certain new and existing
County offices and departments; providing certain directors with certain
authorities, duties, functions and benefits; removing obsolete provisions; and
generally relating to the duties, functions, responsibilities and authorities of the
offices, departments and personnel of the Baltimore County government.
