(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, by proceeding under
this subtitle, a petitioner, including a petitioner who acts on behalf of a child or
vulnerable adult, is not limited to or precluded from pursuing any other legal remedy.
(b) [An individual who is eligible to petition for relief under] A PERSON
ELIGIBLE FOR RELIEF, AS DEFINED IN § 4-501 OF this [subtitle] SUBTITLE, may not
petition IS NOT ELIGIBLE for PEACE ORDER relief under Title 3, SUBTITLE 8 OR
Subtitle 15 of the Courts Article.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2000.

AN ACT concerning
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission - Public Utility Construction -
Violations
PG/MC 2-00
FOR the purpose of providing for a certain civil monetary fine for a violation of
certain rules and regulations governing public utility construction; authorizing
the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission to adopt rules and regulations
on public utility construction; repealing certain criminal penalties for a violation
of certain public utility construction provisions; altering a certain definition;
and generally relating to the authority of the Washington Suburban Sanitary
Commission and public utility construction.
