Anne Arundel County Register of Wills, Certificates of Freedom, 1805-1864

State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Wesley Jackson aged about thirty years about
five feet seven and three quarter Inches high brown
Complexion has a scar on the forehead and on the
left Cheek is the Son of Hagar Manumitted by
William Jacobs by deed dated the Sixteenth day of
December Eighteen hundred and twenty the issue
of said Hagar if males to be free at the age of thirty
years and he the said Wesley Jackson having now
attained that age and that he was raised in the County
aforesaid
             Issued the 30 day of Augt 1854

State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof named Ann Catharine Thomas aged about
Nineteen years about five feet two and an half inches
high brown Complexion has a scar on her forehead
and one on the right arm was free born and
that she was raised in the County aforesaid
             Issued the 6 September 1854

State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Priscilla Adams aged about eighteen years
about five feet three inches high brown complexion
has a scar on the left side of the face extending
