named Jacob Bowie aged about twenty one years about
five feet four and an half inches high black complexion
has no perceptible Marks, which said Jacob is the Son
of Lucretia Bowie, who secured his freedom in Anne Arundel
County Court at april Term Eighteen hundred and fifty
as appears by reference to the record of proceedings of June
Court and that he was raised  in the County aforesaid
             Issued the 26 day of December 1854

State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof named Caroline Bowie aged about Sixteen
years about five feet three and an half inches high
dark Complexion has no perceptible Marks is one of the
persons who recovered her freedom upon Petition in Anne
Arundel County at April Term Eighteen hundred
and fifty the said Caroline being the daughter of Lucretia
Bowie who received her freedom upon Petition at the Same Term
and that she was raised in the County aforesaid
             Issued the 27 day of December 1854

State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel
County do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named George Christopher
Grenage aged about twenty four years about five feet Eight and a
quarter inches high black Complexion has a large scar on his left
breast is the identical person Set free by deed of Manumission
Executed by Jesse Grenage dated the second day of January
in the year Eighteen hundred and fifty five and that he was
raised in the County aforesaid
             Issued the 2 day of Jry 1855
