State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel County do hereby Certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Samuel Hammond aged about twenty one years about five
feet five inches high yellow complexion has a small scar
on the left thumb and a small mole on the left eye
brow is free born, and that he was raised in the
County aforesaid
             Issued the 7th day of June 1855

State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof named Elizabeth Ellen Matthews
aged about eighteen years about five feet three and
one quarter inches high light complexion has a
small scar under right eye and one on the
right wrist ^was free born^ and that she was raised in the
County aforesaid
             Issued the 13th day of July 1855

State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H Green Clk Circuit Court for Anne Arundel
County do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Ellen Matthews
aged about forty three years about five feet five
& a half inches high light complexion a small scar
across the nose and on the right arm a
short distance above the wrist was free
born and that she was raised in the
County aforesaid
             Issued the 13th day of July 1855
