it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof named Daniel Brown aged about
twenty three years about five feet six and a quarter
inches high brown Complexion has two small
scars on the fingers of the left hand was free
born and that he was raised in the County
aforesaid
             Issued the 27 August 1855

State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

              I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Priscilla Phelps aged about thirty nine years about five
feet three and an half inches high yellow Complexion
has no perceptible marks is one of the Persons
Manumitted by Nicholas J Watkins by deed dated
the third day of September in the year of our Lord
one thousand Eight hundred and fifty five
and that she was raised in the County aforesaid
             Issued the 5 day of September 1855

State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named John Burlie aged about twenty one years
about five feet seven inches hight light Complexion
has a small scar under the right eye and one on the
right hand is the child of Mary manumitted by
Eleanor Cowley by deed dated the 17th day of
September 1829 the issue of the said Mary if male
to be free at the age of twenty one years and be the said
John Burlie having now attained That age
             Issued the 22nd day of October 1855
