Certify that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the Bearer hereof named Harriet Stepney
aged about thirty three years about five feet
one and a half inches high black Complexion
has a scar on the right arm Caused by a Burn
is one of the persons manumitted by Sophia B
Brice by deed dated the 29 day of May 1856
and that she was raised in the County aforesaid
             Issued the 19 June 1856

State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County Sct

I Nicholas H. Green Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify that
it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
Bearer hereof named Julia Hammond aged
about twenty three years about five feet four and
an half Inches high yellow Complexion has a
small Scar on the left wrist is free born
and that She was raised in the County
aforesaid
             Issued the 21 day of June 1856

State of Maryland  Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H. Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel County do hereby Certify that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer
hereof named Richard Weslon aged about twenty
three years about five feet Eight Inches high black
Complexion has two Scars one on the back of
the right hand and the other on the left is free
born and that he was raised in the County aforesaid
             Issued the 12 July 1856
