State of Maryland Anne Arundel County To Wit

I Nicholas H Green Clk of the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel County do hereby certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Charity Scott aged about thirty five years about five
feet two and quarter inches high brown complexion
has no perceptible marks is the identical person
manumitted by Stephen Beard by deed of
manumission dated the fifth day of June 1833
& that she was raised in the County aforesaid
                  Issued the 15 day of April 1858

I Nicholas H Green Clk of the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel County do hereby certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Solomon Hall aged about thirty years about five
feet nine & quarter inches high black complexion
has a scar over the right eye across the eyebrow and
also a scar on the first finger of the left hand, is one
of the issue of Judy manumitted by Stephen Beard Sr
by deed dated the 26 day of January 1820 & that he
was raised in the County aforesaid
                  Issued the 15 day of April 1858

State of Md.       Anne Arundel County To wit

I Nicholas H. Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel County do hereby certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Nellie Hall aged about thirty years about
five feet three & quarter inches high brown
complexion has a small scar on the back of the
left wrist, & no other perceptible marks is
one of the issue of Judy manumitted by
Stephen Beard by deed dated the 26th day
of January eighteen hundred and twenty
& that she was raised in the County aforesaid
                  Issued the 15 day of April 1858
