To the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Kent County
          I hereby certify that a negro girl now present
and applying for a certificate of freedom named
Mary Ellen Munson aged about twenty one years
is the identical person mentioned in a Deed of
Manumission from Frederick Munson to the said
Mary Ellen Munson dated the fifth day of November
Eighteen hundred and forty six and recorded in
Liber J.N.G. N.o 4 pages 62 &c one of the Chattel
record books for Kent County
                                                W.m S. Lassell

Mary Ellen is five feet and one inch high of
a light complexion and has a mole on her left brow

Filed and recorded August 3.d 1863 by

To the Clerk of the circuit court for Kent County
                            I hereby certify that a negro woman now present
and applying for a certificate of freedom named Francis Golding
aged about Eighteen years was born free and raised in Kent
County
                                                          Jno B Parrott

Francis is 5 feet high Light Brown complexion with a scar
on the end of the little finger on the left hand
