Born in Norwood, Massachusetts, 1938. Attended Montgomery Blair High School, Silver Spring, Maryland; Dickinson College, B.A. (political science & economics), 1960; George Washington University Law School, LL.B., 1964. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1965. Served in U.S. Army. Member, Maryland State Bar Association (board of governors, 1987-88; long-range planning committee); Montgomery County Bar Association (chair, long-range planning committee; juvenile law committee; administrative law committee). Board of Directors, Montgomery County Bar Foundation, 1997-. President, West End Citizens Association, Rockville. Died in Rockville, Maryland, May 19, 2021.
